Dang it! Haven’t been here in a very long time.
John Mayer not coming to Omaha, NE…
iTunes exclusive five song EP coming August 7… Sadly (though funny to me) the title is pretty much the truth. Four in studio acoustic performances and the track “Go Easy On Me” from the Born and Raised sessions. A little something for all your support and patience.
I’m about to enter the prep/surgery/recovery wormhole next week (edit: surgery at the end of August) , but I’m excited to get back to it next year. Hope you’re all having a great summer.
I wish you all the best with your upcoming surgery and recovery. God tells me you’re going to be alright! ; ) Yahooooooooo!
Thanks for keeping us fans up to date and thank you again for ‘Born and Raised’. I’m still enjoying it in many, many ways. Oh, so much I could say. Ahhh!
Take care you and I’m wishing you great health, happiness, and love always.
Just saw him play a song called “I’m Getting Ready” on David Letterman tonight. I was dumbfounded. What a voice. What a song. What a vibe. What a soul. What a message. I don’t want to wait until I listen through every song on his album and I invent some dumb self-protective reason why it wasn’t what I first thought it was. It absolutely is what I think it is: it’s a revelation. It’s a reassurance to everyone who loves and plays “natural” music that the future of it is going to be alright for quite some time. I just clicked on all the previews on iTunes and I’m so excited to get to know the album. Please buy records by people who write and play their own music. It matters more than you think. Tonight I had a rare “pull the car to the side of the road” moment. It’s been too long. So exciting.
Amen! I love music and I love excitement. I’m in heaven! ; )

You should reblog this video today to help promote something ORIGINAL and not culled together, copied and pasted, covered, repurposed, parodied, made ironic, specious or insincere. Great stuff needs to win the day sometimes.
Ain’t that the truth! So BEAUTIFUL and so REAL, Michael. Thank you. I will be listening! Cheers to you and your band.
#1: “You know where you got that shirt, and it sure wasn’t the men’s department.”
Context: General fashion mockery.
#2: “Fuck yo’ couch!”
Awwwwwwww yeah! (Definitely flipping topics here.)
LOL I’m laughing soooo hard. Love Chappelle Show and absolutely love the episode featuring John Mayer. It’s something along the lines that white people can dance if you play what they love. ; ) Right? So many episodes I never tire of including this one for sure! Ahhhhh!
Thanks for posting!
